Yay, we’re back, and it really does feel so good to be back. If you follow our social media channels you will have seen us using Lockdown 2.0 to our advantage. We’ve caught up on all we needed to, we’ve got our lovely website up and running and we’ve taken the time to reflect and enjoy the quiet before the Christmas rush takes hold. Whether you find Christmas shopping the most enjoyable or the most daunting prospect of this time of year…it is upon us. With that in mind I have decided to dedicate this blog to letting our customers know what we have in store and a little bit about them.
What I look for…
When shopping I personally look for quality at the best price, more than once have I been stung with buying pretty jewellery only to find it tarnishing quickly or a nasty green mark being left on my skin. So when I started out looking for stock for our store, my set-in-stone-rule is NO BASE METALS! So you won’t find any in our store, everything is the genuine article.
By nature I don’t follow the crowd, I look for an individual and invest in their qualities and attributes, these are the principles I apply when choosing jewellery to stock in our store. I look for the best features, the beauty and the quality the brand has to offer to my customers, not just whats on trend.
Guy Wakeling Signature Jewellery
This is our collection of Guy’s luxury signature work and is comprised of exceptional pieces of bespoke craftsmanship and stunning beauty. This Collection was chosen by myself, I love, love, love silver jewellery. Something about this durable, luminous metal keeps me coming back for more. So I have hand picked a collection of silver jewellery that I feel my customers would enjoy. No Frills, no buttons and bows and definitely no base metals. Just simple, just pure, just elegant. This collection is perfect everyday jewellery, something a little different or simple as a gift to convey those all important messages of love and appreciation.
Kit Heath
Kit Heath is one of our most popular ranges, they produce contemporary quality sterling silver jewellery. With a wide range of designs and themes inspired by life, love and the beauty of nature you are sure to find something to your taste. We have stocked this brand for a few years now and are always pleased with the stunning designs and exceptional quality they produce. Their inspiration of nature is always evident with the changing seasons.
Unique & Co
Unique and Co is a brand we have stocked for a couple of years and is one of our best sellers. A family brand that was founded in 1999, their jewellery is inspired by travel, culture and skilled engineering. They have a talent for balancing a mix of materials such as sterling silver, tungsten, leather and steel for truly unique and wonderful jewellery. We love this brand and stock both their women’s and mens collections.
Sparkling Jewels
Sparkling Jewels is a lovely brand that produces modern and contemporary jewellery, that allows you to mix and match the gemstones included within their jewellery. So if you are someone who like to change it up, or you like a particular piece but what your gemstones to match, then this is the brand for you. I have personally have been wearing a lot of their jewellery this autumn, utilising their gorgeous warm tiger eye stones and teaming chunky knits with long pendants.
Fiorelli
This is the newest brand to join the Guy Wakeling Jewellery family. I have loved their bags and purses for years and when they released their own line of jewellery, I have to say I was a little excited. After holding back to see what they came up with, I have decided that now is the right time and brought in some of their beautiful jewellery. Bursting with modern, chic designs this collection is absolutely beautiful, with matching sets, statement pieces and subtle day wear in certain this range from Fiorelli will be just as popular as their Bags.
Bering
This is another new brand to us this season (told you Ive been a busy little bee). Bering Watches are a line of beautiful and modern watches. That are inspired by the icy landscapes of the Artic. Bering designers have created a wonderful balance between minimalist Danish design and high-quality, strong materials. They have made a variety of watches from that suites every buyer, from ultra-slim light weight watches to solar watches. These watches are so striking and beautiful, they are incredibly comfortable to wear and come in a range of gorgeous vivid colours and styles that are pure elegance. We stock both of their mens and women’s collections.
Sekonda
Sekonda is a very well known originally British brand, that makes quality quartz watches for both men and women. These watches have proved very popular in our store, and we stock both mens and women’s collections for this brand. Sekonda has created a wonderful variety of watches that caters for all styles and budgets, so whether your after a trusty day watch or an elegant dress watch, Sekonda has something for everyone. We also stock the Seksy Range from Sekonda which is a dazzling set of watches, with added sparkle they contain elements of Swarovski Crystals and add a touch of glitz and glamour whenever worn.
We’ve decked out the store, not that we need anymore sparkle going on (wink). We’ve even decorated the workshop window, so our resident Ba-Humbug will feel the Christmas cheer as well as the Christmas pressure.
