Guy Wakeling’s journey in jewellery began at his father’s workbench, learning the craft alongside his older brother and building a lifelong respect for patience, precision and integrity.
The story
Guy’s father honed his craft on Bond Street, London, in the 1960s, a place renowned for world-class craftsmanship and fine jewellery.
Guy completed a traditional apprenticeship over 12 years, learning not only the technical skills of the trade but also the values that still guide his work today.
From those humble beginnings, he has grown to establish his own workshop and retail shop in Penwortham, Preston, the town where he was born and raised.
Every piece of jewellery is personally designed and handcrafted by Guy, working in precious metals and gemstones with care, skill and attention to detail.
His work ranges from bespoke commissions and modern designs to remodelling and repairs, with the same care given to every piece.
All diamonds are GIA-certified, ensuring authenticity and excellence. Guy’s commitment to quality has also been recognised with awards voted for by the general public.
Customer satisfaction is paramount. Guy takes time to listen, ensuring every commission reflects the individual story of the person he is working with.
Known for being down-to-earth, friendly and approachable, he aims to make the experience of commissioning or restoring jewellery as enjoyable as the piece itself.
